Cat is called to another vigilante crime scene but when she tries to convince Joe this is not the work of the vigilante he ignores her. Muirfield contact Evan, expecting him to sabotage the forensic evidence if necessary to keep the task force from finding the vigilante. Cat and Vincent rig the lab to blow when the task force arrive, they escape in the subterranean tunnels when Tess later finds Vincent.
Directed by Rick Rosenthal Written by Emily Silver Cat can't convince Tess that Vince, whom she just shot, is a friend, no dangerous monster, so JT has to tranquilize her, Vince finds reasoning pointless. ADA Gabe Lowe's men fail to kill Tess, who is saved from the drain by Vince. JT manages to corrupt the DNA sample in Evan's lab, so Vince can't be identified, but unwillingly inspires Evan to declare his love to Cat, which results in seeing Vince leave her apartment with unnatural strength.
Directed by Scott Peters Written by Roger Grant & Blair Singer Muirfield hunt for Vincent in the tunnels and arrange for Evan to be taken to the same facility where they are now holding Vincent. Meanwhile Cat discovers where Vincent's being held with JT's help, and mounts her rescue plan. Cat releases Vincent and Evan apologises for betraying him, but during their escape Evan gets fatally wounded and sacrifices himself in more ways than one.
Directed by Mike Rohl Written by Brian Studler Gabe comes clean to Cat that he knows about Muirfield. Vincent does not think Cat should trust Gabe and is suspicious of his intentions, which causes tension between them. Meanwhile, JT and Vincent finally find a new place to live.
Directed by Mairzee Almas Written by Holly Henderson & Don Whitehead On the anniversary of her mother's death, Cat asks Gabe to attend her family's annual remembrance of Vanessa, which makes Vincent incredibly jealous. Cat learns some information that makes her think her mom might still be alive and when a sniper shoots the mayor at a public event, Vincent finds evidence that links Gabe to the sniper.
